Shawn Lawler
Shawn has been a dedicated member of the Texas South Plains Honor Flight program since the inaugural flight in 2012 and currently serves as a board member.

Outside of Honor Flight, Shawn currently serves as the Assistant Federal Security Director for Law Enforcement (AFSD-LE) for West Texas since 2010. He joined the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) in 2002, where he played a key role in establishing the first Dallas-based Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR) team. In 2022, Shawn served as the lead law enforcement officer for Operation Allies Welcome (OAW) at Holloman Air Force Base. In his current role as AFSD-LE, he also acts as the point of contact and coordinator for all emergency management Tactical Response Plans (TRPs). Additionally, Shawn serves on the FBI North Texas Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force.
